First opening in 1971 (and officially established as a student pub in 1975), Clark Hall Pub is not only the oldest bar on Queen's University campus, but also the only fully student-owned and -operated bar in Canada. Clark Hall Pub is colloquially known as the "Centre of the Universe", though students with a more rudimentary grasp of cosmology will always be able to locate it directly above the Campus Bookstore. Although it is a service of the Engineering Society, the pub's management, staff, and patrons represent all faculties of Queen's.
In its early days, Clark Hall Pub was a popular hang-out for students and professors alike, equipped with not much more than a mini-fridge and a few old armchairs. It has come a long way since then--Clark is now firmly established as one of the premier live music venues in Kingston, along the way hosting such notable bands as The Tragically Hip , Bedouin Soundclash , Arcade Fire , and Lustra . The pub continues to host free concerts every Thursday during the school year, sandwiched between special events each Wednesday, and Friday afternoon's dangerously fun Ritual. Best of all, Clark can be booked out by any student (club, team, or individual)--for free!

So we've created this event - Live Band Bingo. Here's how it works: You show up, show your ID at the door, but don't touch your cash. Head over to the bar, order your favourite drink and find a seat, ledge or a solid lean. Before long you'll notice a righteous Clark Hall Pub employee passing out Bingo Cards and dabbers (read crayons). Just put out your hand and you're in the game. Then you just have to watch the band, listen to the music and mark off squares when you can. If you get a bingo, yell BINGO. Then, at the end of the set, you'll win a prize. That's it. There are usually 5-6 games during which the band will play 2-3 songs. Show up early, get a good seat and win some great prizes!
Past prizes include (but are not limited to): a GT snow racer, a hot wheels track, a beef roast, Ritual line skips and much, much more. Check the calender for the next Live Band Bingo!
